clear, standardized process for reviewing, approving, denying, and verifying reported time in PeopleSoft. Errors in approvals or missed payroll deadlines could delay student pay, increase Payroll workload, and create compliance issues. The training needed to simplify a complex workflow while emphasizing the responsibilities of department time approvers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning Solution<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">Designed and developed a scenario-based software training video that guided department managers through the complete PeopleSoft reported-time approval process. The course demonstrated navigation, filtering employees by job classification, approving and denying reported time, documenting corrections, handling exceptions, and verifying that all employee timesheets had been processed before payroll deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project Highlights<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Designed a workflow-based learning experience that mirrored the actual approval process from start to finish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simplified complex PeopleSoft navigation into clear, sequential procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Included decision points for approving, denying, and correcting reported time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reinforced payroll deadlines and manager accountability throughout the training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated exception handling for unsubmitted timesheets and inaccurate punch times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduced productivity tips, including creating Favorites and filtering employees by job classification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Concluded with a verification process to ensure all reported time had been reviewed before payroll processing.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impact<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0\">The training standardized the reported-time approval process across departments, reducing uncertainty for managers responsible for student payroll. By presenting each step in a logical sequence and addressing common exceptions, the course helped supervisors complete approvals more efficiently while following established payroll procedures.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From a business perspective, the project supported more accurate and timely payroll processing by emphasizing verification, documentation, and manager accountability.
