The challenge was to transform a traditionally information-heavy orientation into a clear, engaging learning experience that reduced confusion, improved understanding, and supported informed enrollment decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning Solution<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">I designed and developed a comprehensive self-paced e-learning course that introduced employees to CSU benefits through a structured, modular learning experience. The course combined narrated instruction, interactive content, visual comparisons, scenario-based examples, and decision-support resources to explain medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, insurance, and voluntary benefit programs in language accessible to employees with varying levels of prior knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project Highlights<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organized a large volume of complex benefits information into logical learning modules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developed visual comparisons to simplify HMO versus PPO plan selection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incorporated interactive knowledge checks and expandable content sections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Used realistic cost examples to explain insurance concepts and employee decision-making.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designed navigation that allowed learners to review topics independently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Produced narration, graphics, animation, and course integration for LMS delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impact<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0\">The course standardized benefits education for all newly hired employees, providing consistent information regardless of department or orientation schedule. Employees were able to review materials at their own pace, revisit sections as needed, and access supporting resources before making enrollment decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By replacing much of the repetitive in-person benefits overview with a scalable online learning solution, Human Resources improved the consistency of information delivered while reducing administrative time spent answering common questions.
